In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, there’s been some additions to  Nashville’s New Year’s lineup, Cole Swindell shares his favorite Christmas movie, and there’s a massive update in Morgan Wallen’s chair throwing case.

 

  • New Year’s Eve: Nashville’s Big Bash will air on CBS again this year and they’ve announced more performers for the show. Shaboozey, Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson and Post Malone will join the likes of Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert as they perform in Nashville to ring in 2025. Keith Urban and Rachel Smith from Entertainment Tonight are set to host.

 

  • Christmas is almost here and talking with Cole Swindell he shared his favorite Christmas movie:

 

  • Morgan Wallen has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment. Just a few days ago he was still up for three felony counts and the case was set to go to a grand jury. But on Wednesday the charges were dropped to misdemeanor charges. Morgan will now serve seven days in “jail” (he’ll be serving those seven days in a DUI education center), has to pay a $350 fine and will be on probation for two years.
