Country music’s biggest night returned tonight with the 58th annual Country Music Association Awards, honoring the the best country music had to offer this year. The dynamic duo of Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning reprised their hosting duties live from Nashville for the third year in a row, with multiple-award winner Lainey Wilson joining in to make it a trio.

Wilson entered the night with four nominations, including one for Entertainer of the Year, and won Female Vocalist and Music Video of the Year, for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” Both she and cohost Bryan were also among the night’s performers. Post Malone and Chris Stapleton opened the show, which also included high-profile collabs between Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan, Brooks & Dunn and Jelly Roll, and others.

Breakout stars Shaboozey, Megan Moroney, and Bailey Zimmerman (all nominated for Best New Artist) took the stage along seasoned performers like Kacey MusgravesLuke Combs, and Cody Johnson. Plus, the stars aligned for a tribute to George Strait.

Chris Stapleton was the big winner of the night, taking home Male Vocalist, as well as Single and Song of the Year for “White Horse,” though he lost out Album of the Year to Cody Johnson’s Leather and, in a bit of a surprise upset, Entertainer of the Year to an absent Morgan Wallen.
