In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, the Field & Stream Music Festival has been postponed, Jelly Roll had a crazy weekend in New York and Kris Kristofferson passed away this weekend.
- The inaugural Field & Stream Festival was scheduled to take place this weekend but has been postponed to next year due to damages from Hurricane Helene. The Festival was planned to be in North Carolina and parts of that state have been hit hard by the storm. Carolina natives Luke Combs and Eric Church are looking for ways to help their home state.
- Jelly Roll had a crazy weekend in New York City, he played a sold out show at Madison Square Garden, played Central Park and then was on Saturday Night Live. I think Jelly sums up how crazy that all is himself (profanity warning) :
- Over the weekend it was announced that Kris Kristofferson passed away on Saturday September 28th at the age of 88. No cause of death has been given but he was surrounded by family in his home in Hawaii.
