1. Pizza rolls were created in the 1960s by a cook working for a Chinese food company, who was searching for new uses for their egg roll machine.
They were originally put out by a company called Jeno’s. But the concept was sold, and in 1993 they were rebranded Totino’s Pizza Rolls.

2. Eight of the last nine world records in the men’s marathon have all been set at the Berlin Marathon . . . and all by runners from Kenya or Ethiopia.

3. The Michelin Man has a name. And it is . . . Bibendum.

4. There was a silent movie version of “The Wizard of Oz” in 1925, but it has a different story than the famous version from 1939 . . . and it got bad reviews. But it DID have Oliver Hardy from Laurel and Hardy as the Tin Man.

5. In China, Hooters is referred to as “American Owl Restaurant.”
