1. Of the 16.1 million Americans who served during World War Two, there are only around 100,000 who are still remaining.
Five months ago, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs reported that 119,550 WW2 veterans were still with us, but we were losing 131 per day. That puts the current number at about 100,000 . . . who’d now be in their 90s or older.
