In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Lainey Wilson talks bell bottoms, Luke Bryan has some 4th of July plans, and Miranda Lambert partners with Tractor Supply again.
- If you ever saw Lainey Wilson in anything other than bell bottom pants you’d feel like you’ve entered an episode of the Twilight Zone. But did you know that she’s been wearing them way longer than she’s been writing music? Her mom got her a pair of leopard-print bell bottoms when she was 8 and Lainey never looked back. Her look was a main reason she got noticed in Nashville too. “When I got to Nashville , I realized that as a female in country music it does not matter if you have a decent voice or you’re a decent singer writer. You gotta do something that’s outside of the box if you want to get noticed” Lainey explained
- The 4th of July is this upcoming Tuesday and talking with Luke Bryan he said he has some plans for the 4th:
- Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply have joined for the 3rd year to donate more than $250,000 to 52 animal shelters. Each state will have one beneficiary plus D.C. and a “wildcard” pick. Each shelter will receive $5,000.
