In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Cody Johnson deals with rowdy fans, Dierks Bentley gets excited about his opening acts, and Morgan Wallen continues his impressive streak.
- Over the weekend in Virginia, Cody Johnson has to stop one of his shows because two idiots decided to start fighting up by the stage. Cody called them out and told them to leave and if they had a problem with that he offered to find the solution for them. Cody Johnson worked as a prison guard and was a professional bull rider before he hit it big in the music world, so I’m sure he could handle himself in a fight. - Dierks Bentley is kicking off his Gravel & Gold Tour this Thursday June 1st and talking with him, he seems more excited to watch his opening acts them performing himself LOL! He has Jordan Davis, Elle King and others joining him this summer.
- Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time is still #1 on the Billboard 200. It has now spent 12 consecutive weeks at the top spot making it the most weeks at #1 for a country album in albums 30 years. Billy Ray Cyrus’ Some Gave All spent 17 weeks in 1992.
