A three-year-old in Colorado saved his great-grandma after she fell last month and hit her head.  It happened next to some steps outside her home, and her phone was in the car.  So she told him to be brave and go get it for her.

He was scared because it was dark out, but he came through.  There’s security cam footage, and you can hear him tell himself, “Don’t be afraid.”

On Feb. 23, Sharon Lewis was watching her great-grandson Bridger, 3, when she tripped and hit her head on a concrete step, splitting her forehead open. Lewis started yelling for her neighbors, however, no one heard her cries. So she asked Bridger to go to her car and get her phone. Home security footage captured Bridger’s bravery and how he psyched himself up for the challenge. “Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid,” he told himself. After Lewis was able to call 911, she was diagnosed with a concussion and received 22 staples in her head, which were removed last week. She’s now “healing very well” and calls Bridger “quite a blessing.” 🎥: Stephanie Peabody
