In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Old Dominion’s guitarist is releasing a solo project, the lawsuit against Jelly Roll has been dropped, and this country music star has high praise for Post Malone.
- Old Dominion’s guitarist Brad Tursi is set to release his first solo project titled “Parallel Love” on July 19th. And no he’s not leaving the band anytime soon. He almost didn’t do the project but the other members of Old Dominion heard his music and encouraged him to do it.
- A couple months ago the wedding band Jellroll filed a lawsuit against Jelly Roll for trademark infringement. But now the lawsuit has been dropped. Jellyroll Band didn’t give details but did say that they have withdrawn their lawsuit, I would assume someone got paid in this situation.
- Post Malone’s highly anticipated country album F-1 Trillion is set to release August 16th and it already features several of country’s biggest stars. And now one of Nashville’s biggest names has high praise for Posty, Jason Aldean. Jason praised Post Malone’s appreciation for the genre and hopes he has great success saying he thinks county fans will see he’s authentic.
