In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Ashley Cooke received her “real” award, Luke Combs teases a new song with Post Malone, and Bunnie XO shared her first thought of Jelly Roll.
- Earlier this year Ashley Cooke, best known for her song “Your Place”, took home the Female Breakthrough Video of the Year award at the CMT Music Awards or at least she thought she did. Ashley didn’t realize that the award they’re given at the show is just a prop but her real trophy just showed up in the mail and she’s showing it off on social media!
- Post Malone is setting the country music world on fire this summer, his album F-1 Trillion comes out August 16th. He’s already got a song with Morgan Wallen, one with Blake Shelton and he’s teased one with Chris Stapleton. Now, Luke Combs has taken to social media to share a snippet of his song with Post Malone called “Guy for That”:
- Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie XO are well known for looking lost in love on the red carpet of the various events and concerts he’s at and now we know what Bunnie first thought of Jelly. In her podcast Bunnie revealed when she first saw him back in 2015 at the Las Vegas Country Saloon, where Jelly was an opening act, her first thoughts were “What is THIS? What is this man? This big Southern boy”. Since it was a small venue they started talking after the show and really hit it off and now we now them as a power couple in the music world.
