In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, we learn who the new voices of ESPN’s College GameDay are, Jon Pardi hits number one on the charts, and Morgan Wallen may be opening a bar.

 

  • Last week it was revealed that Big & Rich would no longer kickoff ESPN’s College GameDay every Saturday morning, but their presence won’t be forgotten. Because Lainey Wilson, Darius Rucker, and The Cadillac Three are the new voices singing “Comin’ to Your City” (which is a Big &  Rich song). The new intro debuts this Saturday.

 

  • Jon Pardi has another #1 hit on his hands with “Your Heart Or Mine”. And talking with Jon he shared how he felt about having another #1 song:

 

  • There’s a rumor that Morgan Wallen is planning on opening a bar/venue in Nashville. According to the rumor it would be right by the Ryman Auditorium and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row. No details yet as Morgan and his team have yet to comment. But something we do know for a fact is that Hank Williams Jr.’s bar “Hank Williams Jr.’s Boogie Bar” is set to open in Nashville this fall. It will be situated between the Ernest Tubb Record Shop and AJ’s Good Time Bar.
