Happy Monday! Feeling a little sleep-deprived? If so, you’re not alone . . . a lot of us are in GENERAL.
Some website that sells mattresses commissioned a study that ranked all 50 states according to how sleep-deprived people are.
They did it by looking at 96 sleep-related terms, and how often we google them. Things like “insomnia,” “sleep apnea,” and “sleep disorder.”
According to the results, the most sleep-deprived state is California. And people in Montana are sleeping like babies.
The five most sleep-deprived states are: California . . . Maryland . . . New York . . . Massachusetts . . . and Nevada.
The five states where people are the most well-rested are: Montana . . . South Dakota . . . Idaho . . . Wyoming . . . and Iowa.
Rural states seem to be getting better sleep overall. So if you’re not sleeping well, maybe it’s time to go out and touch grass.
