In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Cody Johnson has been hard at work in the studio, Hardy talks about his latest music video, and Lainey Wilson shares her favorite part of Yellowstone mania.
- Cody Johnson, who’s latest song was “Human”, is gearing up to release a 24 song deluxe album this fall titled Leather. But he’s recently revealed that he’s been doing more in the studio than just that massive album. Cody’s also been working on a concept album called The Cowboy Sessions, which is exactly what it sound like, an album full of covers of cowboy songs. He’s even played around with the idea of making a rock album!
- Hardy’s latest single is “Truck Bed”, and he’s recently released a music video for the song. Talking with Hardy he shared what he’s vision for the video was:
- Lainey Wilson got a massive boost for her appearance on Yellowstone. But that’s not what her favorite part of the show is. She loves how they’ve made county music cool again. In her words “I love what they’ve done for the Western way of life. I love what they’ve done for country music.”
