In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Jelly Roll talks about his plan to help at-risk youth, Justin Moore explains the recording process of his latest single, and the ACM Awards have announced their first round of performers.
- Jelly Roll, best known for his song “Son of a Sinner”, has been enjoying some success lately but that isn’t taking his eye off of his main goal. Jelly Roll wants to help people who are struggling like he did. He plans on building halfway houses and transitional centers. He’s already donated $250,000 to support youth in Nashville’s Davidson Country Detention Center, a place he spent time as a teen.
- Justin Moore’s newest single is “You, Me & Whiskey” and he recorded it with Priscilla Block. But Justin explained that when they recorded the song they weren’t even together in the studio:
- The ACM Awards will be on Amazon Prime May 11th and they’ve announced the first round of performers. Some of country music’s biggest names: Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen, Keith Urban, Kane Brown.
