- Backstage at the Grammys Luke Combs was asked if he thought he’d have a successful career. He replied with “I didn’t think THIS would happen. I believed my job would be in music in some capacity” He thought he’d be in a band or a backup singer, demo singer or songwriter. Luke just wanted to get a job that “never felt like a job” that was always the goal.
